Mount Hope Cemetery is located in Carrizo Springs Texas on 9th Street (Highway 790) at Thompson Street on the north side of town. It is the oldest cemetery in Dimmit County and includes the graves of many of the Dimmit County Pioneers.
This survey was conducted from November 1996 through September 1997, and includes 1,855 marker listings. Efforts were made to assure the accuracy of this listing, but I could have made errors in reading of stones, and in transcribing the information to the web page.
